Everything you need to know about NOIR
NOIR is a camera app that lets you create shared photo rolls with friends. It's inspired by the experience of sharing disposable cameras - everyone contributes to the same roll and sees each other's photos.
Open the app and tap the '+' button to create a new roll. Give it a name, set the photo limit (optional), and you're ready to start taking photos and inviting friends.
Once you've created a roll, tap the share button to get an invite link or QR code. Share this with your friends via message, email, or any other way. They can join instantly by tapping the link or scanning the code.
Yes, to take photos and fully participate in a roll, your friends need to download NOIR. When they tap an invite link, they'll be guided to download the app if they don't have it yet.
Each roll has a configurable photo limit, similar to a real film roll. The default is 10 or 15 photos depending on the roll type, but you can choose different limits when creating a roll. This encourages intentional photography.
NOIR is designed for authentic, unfiltered moments. Photos are captured as-is without editing or filters, keeping the focus on real memories.
Your photos are stored securely in the cloud as long as you have an account. You can download your photos at any time and delete them when you choose.
Yes, you can delete photos you've taken. Roll creators can also manage and delete any photos in their rolls.
